Hello,

Hopefully a quick question & apologies for my ignorance.

We use DSpace 1.4 for our e-theses collection (not research) but are looking to
upgrade to the most recent version some time soon. A possible change in our
procedures and even a possible mandate (fingers crossed) means we will have to
get to grips with embargo handling which we haven't done in any automated way
as yet.

Is anyone handling embargoes within the software rather than just manually? And
if so, which version and how is it going?

In preparation for the move, I am trying to look at the 'test-drive' site:

http://demo.dspace.org/jspui/

However, I seem to be unable to create a test account. All password
combinations throw up an error as does trying to create your own account. Has
anyone successfully set up a test account?

Apologies too if I should have sent this to the DSpace UK user group list - but
it seems quite quiet?

With many thanks in advance.

Paula
