Based on DSpace, the www.WindMusic.org website, multilingual catalog of
the CDMC (Centre départemental de Musique et de Culture de Haute Alsace,
[email protected]) was already integrating SKOS thesauri and authority
list management.
It contains 67 thousands bibliographic records for scores and music
recordings and 25 thousands authority records.
It now proposes the faceting of the most frequent values along the
available indexes.
This display helps users to define their search needs.
Indexes controled by SKOS thesauri and authority lists, are the
foundation for good multilingual faceted browsing.

Basé sur DSpace, le site WindMusic.org, catalogue multilingue du CDMC
(Centre départemental de Musique et de Culture de Haute Alsace,
[email protected]) intégrait déjà l'utilisation d'un thesaurus et de
listes d'autorité selon la norme SKOS. Il compte 67 mille notices de
partitions ou d'enregistrements et 25 mille notices d'autorité.
Il propose maintenant la ventilation des résultats de recherche selon
les valeurs les plus fréquentes parmi les différents index disponibles.
Cet affichage (aussi appelé "facetage" du résultat de recherche) guide
les utilisateurs dans l'expression de leurs besoins de recherche.
Une indexation, contrôlée par des thesaurus et des listes d'autorité
SKOS, est la fondation d'une bonne navigation multilingue "facetée".
