I would like to send out a thank you to all who took part in our online discussion of DSpace 1.7 over the past couple of days. 19 people participated, including several people new to the DSpace General listserv, and many more observed the conversation.
Nearly everyone who participated plans to upgrade to DSpace 1.7 within the next few months, and although it was noted that documentation can be lacking, the user community remains a vibrant, helpful community that is able to solve each other's problems. Customizations stood out as one of the main roadblocks to upgrades. Thank you to everyone who participated in our very first online discussion.
