The Sixth International Conference on Open Repositories (OR11) will be 
held June 7 - 11 in Austin, Texas. In light of the growing maturity of 
the repository arena, the primary theme of this year's conference is 
"Collaboration and Community: The Social Mechanics of Repository 
Systems." Jim Jaglieski, a founder of the Apache Software Foundation, 
will provide the keynote, addressing what ASF has learned on both fronts 
over more than a decade of support for open source software projects.

The conference steering committee welcomes 2-4 page proposals for 
presentations or panels on this topic, or dealing with any of the other 
conference themes by *March 7, 2011*.

In addition to papers and panels, the committee also welcomes proposals for

   * "24x7 Presentations" -- 24 slides in no more than 7 minutes
   * Posters
   * User Group presentations for DSpace, Eprints and Fedora
   * Workshops, Birds of Feather and Tutorials

Key dates:

   * All proposals are due by March 7 (extended by one week from the 
original 2/28 date)
   * Notification date for papers & panels: April 4, 2011
   * Notification date for 24x7's, Posters, Workshops: April 14, 2011
   * Conference dates: June 7 - 11
