Hi all .. Trying to get the basics of the handle / handle server config within my understanding. :-)
Currently I have my handle # defined in dspace.cfg I've restarted tomcat. I also ran the bin/make-handle-config script then ran bin/start-handle-server.. SO.. now I have some additional java processes listening on port 2641 and 8000. My question is do these ports need to open to the world? Or, are these ports only used internally by the tomcat app during handle operations etc..
