Almost 5 months after the launch of DSpace 1.7, it's great to see a healthy
uptake of this DSpace upgrade together with its flagship features Mirage and
Discovery.
*Mirage* is a new theme for the XML User Interface. It offers enhanced
performance, a clean new look and feel and easier customization.

*Discovery* is a faceted browse and search engine. By dynamically offering a
selection of facets in the repository sidebar, related content becomes
easier accessible for exploring end users.

Although both of these features are included in the standard download of
DSpace 1.7.0 and 1.7.1, they need to be deliberatly enabled. Click here for
a video explaining how to enable Discovery and

.
