Thank you helix84, Reissuing the [dspace]/bin/dspace make-handle-config [dspace]/handle-server with the last update (dspace.baseUrl had missing the http part) and restarting de handle.net service fixed the problem.

Hi Enrique, to break down what this means - for this item as the global handle server knows it, "11117" is the handle prefix "rei.iteso.mx/handle/11117/113" is the handle postfix (what would normally be a sequential number in DSpace). You cannot change a handle of an existing item by changing DSpace configuration. The parts of your configuration you sent seem to be correct, so I guess any new handles you'll create will be correct, too. To correct the existing handles, you have to both modify the value of the "handle" column in the "handle" table in DSpace and somehow inform the handle server about the new postfix (I'll have to refer you to the handle documentation for that). Can you confirm that newly created items with this configuration get correct handles? Did you at any point in time make changes to code related to handles (other than configuration)? Is there anything you can think of that caused such handles to be created? Were they created by DSpace or manually? A strange detail is that the 11117/112 handle resolves as 11117/rei.iteso.mx/handle/11117/113. Did you make the former an alias of the latter?
