To clarify, The "Request for Copy" feature was added to the DSpace 4 codebase by Andrea Bollini and Ivan Masár, who both volunteered their time to prepare the old code for 4.0. Andrea and Ivan reworked and updated the "Request for Copy" code originally written by U of Minho and Adán Román Ruiz at Arvo Consultores. They had additional support from other DSpace Committers in this process, namely Hardy Pottinger (who helped with Oracle support). Not taking anything away from Bram here, he and others on our DSpace Committer team helped advocate for its quick inclusion into the upcoming 4.0 release. But, I did want to be sure that Andrea and Ivan received the recognition for their hard work in making sure this feature makes it into 4.0 in December.
