I've solved this, i had not added the solr.xml file in my catalina

I have made a fresh installation of the latest version of DSpace and when I 
click for example Titles, Authors or Subjects in the Browse menu I get this 
error message:

Go to DSpace home

org.apache.solr.client.solrj.impl.HttpSolrServer$RemoteSolrException:
          Server at http://localhost:8080/solr/search returned non ok 
status:404, message:Not Found
