Hello Ann,
Its not currently possible to associate the CC license with individual
Bitstream. It generally applies to the Item as a whole. If you are reaching
the point where the Bitstreams have different availability and reuse
limitations, the current strategy I would recommend is to separate them
into individual Items and assign CC and usage rights in the Item metadata.
In future versions of DSpace, Bitstreams may support additional metadata
attached to them, however this would also require the submission process to
be altered to allow attachment of CC licenses to individual bitstreams
rather than the item as a whole. So, at this time, without alteration of
DSpace itself, my recommendation would be separate the Bitstreams into
individual Items for each license.
