For those curious about which of the DSpace Leadership Group representatives
were nominated by the community in late November, they include:

Amy Buckland, Institutional Repository Manager from the University of Chicago
Wally Grotophorst, Associate University Librarian from George Mason University
Sara Lee, Librarian, Desktop Network Services from the University of Hawaii at
Manoa
Andrew Preater, Team Leader of Systems and Innovation Support Services from
Imperial College London
Jaime Schumacher, Director of Scholarly Communications from Northern Illinois
University

To be eligible for nomination, individuals had to be from Silver or Bronze
DuraSpace Member institutions (Gold Members and above are automatically
eligible to have a representative on the Leadership Group). The DSpace
governance model allows for 2 Bronze member and 4 Silver member representatives
on the Leadership Group. Because the number of nominations did not exceed the
total Silver/Bronze members allowed, all nominees were invited to be a part of
the Leadership Group and no formal elections were held.
