Live CD is a demo of DSpace you can download to your desktop. You can find it at: http://cadair.aber.ac.uk/dspace/handle/2160/565
There is also a demo site demo.dspace.org set up at MIT, which you can browse through. Let me know and I can authorize you as a user once you register.
