The post is available on a three days per week basis, with the postholder working Wednesday, Thursday and Friday each week. This is an excellent opportunity to become involved in a rapidly developing area of digital library services. The post-holder will share responsibilities on a day-to-day basis for ensuring that contributors are able to deposit files and for providing them with continuing support. He or she will oversee metadata standards within dsp...@cambridge, provide training in using the system, and advise on intellectual property rights. Applicants should be enthusiastic and self-motivated, have a post-graduate qualification in library and information science or equivalent, and knowledge of metadata schemes currently in use within the academic community, particularly Dublin Core. They should have an good understanding of institutional repository, scholarly communication and digital library issues.
