Ran everything in the install instructions, everything completed with no
errors. Took the simple way in Tomcat's server.xml file:
<Host name="localhost" appBase="/opt/dspace/webapps"
unpackWARs="true" autoDeploy="true">
Tried to start 'er up and nada, nuthin (and no error messages!).
Think I might have not done the hostname part of build.properties; it
looks like
dspace.install.dir=/opt/dspace
# DSpace host name - should match base URL. Do not include port number
dspace.hostname = localhost
# DSpace base host URL. Include port number etc.
dspace.baseUrl = http://localhost:8080
This machine is 192.168.1.10, it's named "fubar.lan" and I'm wondering
if I should have done something different in build.properties? Tomcat,
before adding /opt/dspace/webapps worked as advertised but now it's just
a blank screen (and no activity whatsoever) at localhost:8080.
Any advice?
