We upgraded our Dspace instance from 4.2 on Postgresql 8.4 to 5.3 to Dspace 5.3, Postgresql 9.4.4, Postgresq194-JDBC connector and Tomcat 7.033. The system is run on CentOS 6.7 Linux (no changes were made to that). With our new instance, we have gotten an increasing number of idle-in-transaction errors. Despite increasing our number of connections, it will overwhelm the system and freeze it. Has anyone else had this problem or have any suggestions on what to do?
