Hi Rumbi, there is a specific script that can help you to find out the cause of email related issues: *[dspace]/bin/dspace test-email*
This will attempt to send a test email to the address set in dspace.cfg (mail.admin). If it fails, it should give you more information as to why the email wasn't sent.
