Hi,

DSpace v5.2 with JSPUI.

When submitting via the JSPUI, clicking the "Add More" button does not behave
as expected/hoped in that, after reloading the page with the additional entry
field(s) added, the user is returned to the top of the form rather than the
place on the page where the additional entry fields have been requested/added .
. .

Looking at the URL when the page reloads, I can see that it has attempted to
add an Anchor to the URL to jump to the appropriate place on the form, but
initially this is set to "null" - if I then click a second "Add More" button,
the Anchor in the following URL points to the field related to the previous
click of "Add More".

I've searched in JIRA, where I found this from back in 2009:

https://jira.duraspace.org/browse/DS-128 - "Anchor in submission doesn't work"

- which describes the problem exactly as I've experienced it in the JSPUI, but
this post appears to relate only to the XMLUI, and the JIRA suggests that the
issue was resolved (in XMLUI at least) with v1.6 . . .

Our IR is currently running on v4.1 and, having just tested it, I see that the
issue is also present there. I also have an old DSpace v1.5.1 running our
Educational Resource Bank which also demonstrates this behaviour. I must admit
that I hadn't noticed it before, but it doesn't look like a new issue!

I've also had a quick look on demo.dspace.org, and it looks like this issue is
present there on the JSPUI, but the XMLUI does, indeed, seem to behave as
expected . . .

Searching the List archives I did find a mention of this issue from way back
(2008) but it didn't seem to get any response:

https://groups.google.com/forum/#!searchin/dspace-tech/%22Add$20More%22$20button/dspace-tech/bx7SPeswhxE/tyF9Yt2oBgAJ

Whilst I hadn't noticed it before, our "Acceptance Testing" users for our new
Data repository have reported it and would like it fixed!

I'm guessing others must be seeing this too? Has anyone addressed it at all, or
have any suggestions/pointers as to how/where to fix it?

Cheers,

Mike
