Hi all, it probably is just a coincidence, but since I installed the patch for DS3063 and had to restart our server, the handle server no longer can receive calls and reports errors connecting and time out errors.
Running dspace 5.4 JSPUI on Linux SLES 11, Java 7, Tomcat 7, Oracle 11g. Downloaded the patch files, ran maven and ant update. DSpace is running fine, the patch is working. Only the handleserver no longer is reponding. The handleserver is up and running though. It does not report any errors on startup, but it immediately starts logging time out errors. 75 class net.handle.server.HdlHttpRequestHandler: Exception processing request: HandleException (CANNOT_CONNECT_TO_SERVER) 132.151.20.9: java.io.InterruptedIOException: Connection timed out. The handleserver was up and running and working fine, just until we installed the patch. The Handle authority does not know what the issue would be. Our IT department checked the firewall and all ports are open.
