So the only difference when extending / modifying dspace between doing so under *[dspace-source]/dspace/modules/** and directly onto *[dspace-source]/** is that the first option allows for the quick build process? Does working under *[dspace-source]/dspace/modules/** allow for a full-extend modification of DSpace (java code, jsp for interface customization) or does it impose any limitations? (if so, why would someone decide to work directly under *[dspace-source]/** ?)
