However, it seems that default value is comma.

example (dc.contributor.author)

Comma makes parsing of author names little bit tricky since comma is also used as separator for firstname and lastname.
Is this right? Or have I misunderstood something?

I've just been able to reproduce this on a clean install of master. This is a bug -- would you mind reporting this in Jira? https://jira.duraspace.org/projects/DS/issues
