Hello, I'm the sysadmin for a new dspace installation. We are running Ubuntu 14.04 and Tomcat 7.0.52.0 in a virtualbox VM.
The system runs fine for long periods of time but for whatever reason, usually late at night, the site stops responding. While offline, I used the top command to check the servers processes and noticed that java was sitting at or above 100% CPU usage. Typically, it sits at between 5 and 20% usage. The high CPU usage persists through a reboot. During these extended periods (often several hours) I'm not even able to get html on the localhost. Ubuntu itself continues to respond normally. I'd love any ideas or troubleshooting tips anyone could pass my way. David -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "DSpace Technical Support" group.
