Hello Layale, I assume you are referring to OAI-PMH and not OAI-ORE. The default (must be supported) metadata format is unqualified Dublin Core. In this format all dates are exposed as dc.date. Nonetheless DSpace supports a lot more formats with the verb "ListMetadataFormats" you get all available, e.g.: http://demo.dspace.org/oai/request?verb=ListMetadataFormats You may choose e.g. qdc (Qualified Dublin Core)like http://demo.dspace.org/oai/request?verb=ListRecords&metadataPrefix=qdc
