Hello, I added a new field to an existing metadata schema via the administrative web interface and then populated it for a few items. The metadata values were instantly visible via the item view page, but not via the REST API's /handle/123456789/5 interface. I tried a full Discovery re-index (-b) and cleared the XMLUI cache, but nothing worked. On a hunch I restarted Tomcat and finally was able to view the new metadata values via the REST API.
Is this a known limitation or a bug? Should I file an issue on Jira? We are using DSpace 5.5.
