Hi All,
I have a question regarding what it takes to have DSpace be available in a
web environment.
We have DSpace 6.2 installed on a virtual server, and are purchasing a
domain name. From what I understand, after pointing the IP address of the
virtual server to the DNS directory, we update dspace.cfg to:
dspace.hostname = [domain ISP]
dspace.baseUrl = http://[ domain ISP]
dspace.url = ${dspace.baseUrl}/jspui
Would doing this have our instance of DSpace be available at the indicated
domain address? Or do we additionally need to configure a separate web
host?
Thank you,
Haian
