Hi,
We are using DSpace 6.2 XMLUI (modifed mirage2) in production. We have
discovered that when we delete a collection (with multiple items), the
browser deletion runs for a while and then a 500 Internal Server Error is
generated. Nothing appears in the DSpace or tomcat log files, but in the
Apache log, I see:
[error] (70007) The timeout specified has expired: proxy: read response
failed from [::1]:8009 (localhost)
[error] (70007)The timeout specified has expired: ajp_ilink_receive() can't
receive header
[error] ajp_read_header: ajp_ilink_receive failed

Has anyone encountered this before? Does anyone have any suggestions as to
what we can do to fix this?

BTW: The collection does not appear to be deleted, but after a while, it
does vanish from the community list (that can take up to an hour or so).
