Hi Bill,

That's a new one to me.

Please keep in mind, the DSpace 7 effort is a work-in-progress. It is
obviously *not* production ready. Most features don't yet exist, and those
that do are still quite buggy / under development. So, I wouldn't be
surprised if you've stumbled on a bug along the way. It's also possible
that some new patch/fix is installed on the REST API demo site (
https://dspace7.4science.it), but hasn't yet made it into the main codebase
(I'll have to ask Andrea Bollini if he's aware of anything).

In case you (or others on this list) are not aware of where the DSpace 7
efforts are happening...

   - The main DSpace 7 resources are listed on our DSpace 7 Working Group
wiki page (this is the actual development team working on DSpace 7):
   https://wiki.duraspace.org/display/DSPACE/DSpace+7+Working+Group
   - That team communicates day-by-day and week-by-week via Slack
   <https://wiki.duraspace.org/display/DSPACE/Slack> (where we have
channels for #dev, #angular-ui and #rest-api). So, if you hit issues
trying to get things running locally, that's a good place to ask around for
   help.
   - We maintain a development planning spreadsheet of what work is
complete / in progress / left to do:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/18brPF7cZy_UKyj97Ta44UJg5Z8OwJGi7PLoPJVz-g3g/edit#gid=0

   - We also have an upcoming Development Sprint (May 7-18), where we are
looking for community volunteers to take part. Anyone is welcome, and it's
a great opportunity to learn more about DSpace 7 in a "hands-on" way.

If you are interested in chipping in on DSpace 7, let us know! It'd
definitely be recommended to join us over on Slack, since that's where
DSpace 7 discussions / meetings are being organized and announced. I'm
also glad to chat, if you need more information.
