If your client is only storing metadata (data in the various fields) then DSpace is a bit overkill. But if they’re uploading documents relating to the property then DSpace could make sense.
Whether you rename similar fields or create a separate schema really depends on what’s easier for you and your client. I don’t think there’s any “right way”. If most of your fields are similar to the default schema then just rename them. But if most of them are different then creating a new schema is probably best. You can also do both – use some fields from the default schema as well as fields in your own schema. Deborah From: [email protected] <[email protected]> On Behalf Of Arunendra M. Only here, Title will be replaced by Deed No., Author will replaced by Buyer or Seller and so on. On Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at 1:39:21 PM UTC+5:30, Arunendra M. Should I just rename the similar fields in the corresponding messages file or create a separate schema altogether? Since Title/Accession Code does not exist in case of property, such mandatory fields will have no value in this case.
