In our repository, we have a collection devoted to our ETDs. However, this collection only contains metadata records of the ETDs; the actual PDFs lived in an outside system that managed them. We will be moving to Proquest for the fall, decommissioning the existing management application that serves the PDFs. In this migration, it was decided that the PDFs would now be housed locally in the DSpace repository in addition to Proquest, and so I need to find the easiest way to import the historical ETDs into the repository. Anyone have any good suggestions on how to accomplish this?
