Not precisely, but this is similar to steps which will be required when upgrading to DSpace 7 (not yet released). See https://wiki.duraspace.org/display/DSDOC7x/Upgrading+DSpace for the procedure to reload the Solr cores. Also see the changed schemas at https://github.com/DSpace/DSpace/tree/master/dspace/solr and compare to what you currently have. Several field types were deprecated, replaced and withdrawn between Solr 4 and Solr 7, so there is no way to upgrade the indices in place. The documentation linked above is a work in progress and may change as we gain more experience. Please TEST YOUR UPGRADED SITE THOROUGHLY.
