If I try to start the service I get:

Job for tomcat7.service failed because the control process exited with
error code.
See "systemctl status tomcat7.service" and "journalctl -xe" for details.

Then using systemctl status I get:

dspace@essays-deb8:~$ sudo systemctl status tomcat7.service

I cannot actually find the location for the Tomcat7 logs. Which leads me to
believe that an update/upgrade caused tomcat to be moved/deleted.
