Hi all,
has anyone backported the new strategy of creating versioned identifiers
from DSpace 6 to DSpace 5?
We are still on 5 (using both handle and datacite doi) and would like
versioning them, but the canonical way is no option. Sure we can upgrade
to 6 but with all the customizations we made, this is a lot of effort
for just one functionality and our instance is running smooth. Rather
wait for 7 to do the heavy lifting of upgrading.
