I want to grab ORCID and use it my item display template. I found http://dspace.2283337.n4.nabble.com/exposing-author-s-ORCID-in-simple-item-view-td4685628.html and points to code at https://github.com/stfc/DSpace/commit/50c90c504463e0a9067797cbb7e3e8a77c75c2ca which I followed but the value @orcid_id is always blank even if I have an ORCID present in the record as I can see it in the metadata edit.
Has anyone managed to figure out this. I am using DSpace 6.3 and I have enabled ORCID integration.
