Hi Franziska, Yes, there are a number of features on our TODO list for 7.0, and some sort of "type-bind" support is one of them. The "type-bind" support feature is currently listed as #9 in Tier 2. Keep in mind, feature development order may change based on volunteer development. Simply put, volunteers can develop features in whatever order they want...so, if there's a feature you'd like to see developed earlier, either find a volunteer or hire a service provider to build it & donate it back.
