Hi, Yes, it's possible to upgrade to DSpace 7 from *any previous release*. See the notes at the top of our upgrade guide: https://wiki.lyrasis.org/display/DSDOC7x/Upgrading+DSpace
All your data (in the database and files on filesystem) will be migrated automatically. However, because DSpace 7 has a brand new User Interface, you will *not* be able to migrate your old DSpace user interface changes. Instead, you'd have to install the new DSpace 7 User Interface.
