As part of a migration project we need to bulk update item / file
permissions. Since we have ~10,000 items we want to do this using the API
rather than by hand. Does anyone have sample code to do something relevant?
We're using DSpace 6.3
The basic logic would be:
For <item in collection>
if <metadata matches complex test>
<update item permission>
<update file permission>
else if <metadata matches complex test>
<update item permission>
<update file permission>
else
<skip>
