Specifically, it's worth being aware that new features, improvements & bug fixes are ONLY provided for DSpace 7.x at this time. DSpace 6.x (and 5.x) are only guaranteed security updates. So, any new feature requests will only be acted on for DSpace 7.x, and if they are built, they would not be backported to 6.x or below. If you have any other questions about this, let us know.
