For security reasons, User Interface displayed errors are very generic. This means it's impossible to debug an error without locating the underlying error message in the User Interface and/or backend logs. See that troubleshooting guide for how to do so. Once you've found the underlying error message, if it doesn't make sense you can send it to this list for help.
