"Directory /dspace/bin creation was not successful for an unknown reason" I would check the ownership and permissions of /dspace, relative to the user account which is running 'ant', to see if it is a permissions issue. Or it's just possible that the volume on which /dspace resides is entirely full. Just check all of the usual reasons why a file cannot be created. -- Mark H.
