Hi Sanjib,
You haven't given us enough information about your setup to help. You also
haven't shared any detailed error messages.
However, it's likely that you have not followed the "Production
Installation" step of the installation guide. This step is REQUIRED in
order to access the UI & REST API from a different PC. So, for example,
you must be running HTTPS (on the backend at a minimum) to access the REST
API from a different machine.
See step 16 ("Production Installation (adding HTTPS support)" of the
backend installation
guide:
https://wiki.lyrasis.org/display/DSDOC7x/Installing+DSpace#InstallingDSpace-BackendInstallation
Also see step 8 ("Add HTTPS support") of the frontend installation
guide:
https://wiki.lyrasis.org/display/DSDOC7x/Installing+DSpace#InstallingDSpace-FrontendInstallation
If those don't help, then I'd recommend using our Troubleshooting guide to
determine the underlying error
message:
https://wiki.lyrasis.org/display/DSPACE/Troubleshoot+an+error#Troubleshootanerror-DSpace7.x(orabove)
If you have more questions, let us know on this list.
