Hi everyone.
Me and my team is very new to dspace.We have implemented our dspace site,
but there is one requirement we are stuck on and do not seem to have any
leads; and we’d really appreciate if some one here could point us in the
right direction.
We have a few email notifications we use, which are found in
*dspace/server/config/emails*.In any email template here, one can see a few
“params” which are auto defined in templates as numbers {1}, {2}, etc..
These usually get the name of author, editor, collection name etc., while
sending the email.
*We wanted to add additional parameters in these email templates, which
would pick up some more data from the metadata.*
How do we go about doing this? We have spent quite some time trying to find
a way but have had no luck so far. If some one could just point me in the
right direction where me and my team could go in and do the necessary edits
to allow and configure other params in emails.
Looking forward to the community’s help. Any assistance in this will be
