I have seen this before. What exact version of DSpace 7.x are you using? I would suggest trying to rebuild the Solr search core first with “dspace index-discovery -b”.
With versions of DSpace 7.x before 7.5, I was seeing authority keys instead of author names for items that were withdrawn. When in as Administrator, I was also seeing authors as authority keys for non-discoverable items as well.
