Dear all. I would like to see a few implementation details for S3 storage. Not just configuration that is here https://wiki.lyrasis.org/display/DSDOC7x/Storage+Layer#StorageLayer-ConfiguringAmazonS3Storage but some technology overview. (If files are directly uploaded, if there is local copy kept, what happens when network gets disconnected in the middle of transfer etc.)
