Good day,
I'm currently in the process of upgrading to DSpace 7.6, and as part of that upgrade, I am also upgrading the legacy stats using the solr-upgrade-statistics-6x. We have an extensive amount of statistics to upgrade, numbering in the millions. However, I've encountered an issue where the memory usage keeps increasing until it exhausts the allocated memory. Despite allocating 2GB or even 4GB of memory to the process, it only manages to upgrade around 10,000 records before stopping automatically. I've successfully upgraded all shards from 2011 up until 2020, but the problem persists even with increased memory allocation. Even after rebooting the system, the same issue persists. I'm running Ubuntu 22.04 LTS. Any assistance or advice on resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
