Hello,
Our institution is still on DSpace v 5 and we are working on an implementation plan to upgrade to v 7. 6. We appear to have run into an issue that appears to have been encountered before (albeit quite some time ago): https://groups.google.com/g/dspace-tech/c/nOs_0hyhgvg In short, the database migration is failing because we are encountering the "ERROR: could not create unique index "epersongroup2eperson_pkey" issue – there are a very high number of records in error because it appears that a subset of users in one of our groups has somehow been added to the group twice. Our current DSpace instance does not have LDAP authentication enabled, so we are confident that this is not related to the LDAP module, or authentication in general. We are wondering whether any other groups have encountered a widespread group membership duplication situation like this (acknowledging that our version is lagging behind a bit), and whether it was possible to pinpoint the cause? Thanks for taking the time to read! Happy to provide additional information, if necessary.
