Just an update in case anyone finds this in the future. >From Kim Shepherd's answer in the Slack channel: "for this i think updating the join table and then doing a full discovery reindex and OAI reindex should be fine - the Collection and Community hibernate models only refer to that join table" "i logged an issue as i think this should be a feature available via REST.. https://github.com/DSpace/DSpace/issues/9824";
