Hi Carolyn,

It looks like it doesn't like the 'en_US'. Just 'en' might work.
We had a similar issue with the subject field. The file that needs to be 
updated is "dspace/config/crosswalks/DIM2DataCite.xsl" 

But it looks like may be they have updated the XSL to use 'en-US' in dspace 
7.6.3 which might fix the problem.
