If you have access to the commandline, then you can change the user's password from the "./dspace user" commandline tool documented at https://wiki.lyrasis.org/display/DSDOC7x/Managing+User+Accounts#ManagingUserAccounts-Tomodifyanaccount:
It's also possible to recreate the same administrator account (or a new one) by using the commandline "./dspace create-administrator" tool. If neither of these solve the problem, it's also possible there's an error occurring that is *blocking* your ability to login. If that's the case, you should use the Troubleshooting Guide to locate the detailed error message, as that will have clues as to what the problem may be. https://wiki.lyrasis.org/display/DSPACE/Troubleshoot+an+error Tim On Friday, May 23, 2025 at 11:36:57 AM UTC-5 [email protected] wrote: > I’m facing a problem: my DSpace 8.0 default admin cannot log in.
