[dspace-tech] Handle and DOI registration advice

Hi there,   I’m looking for some examples of how people have setup their DSpace systems for handle.net and DOI registration.   Did you decide to register with handle.net? Do you still use the default handle id of 123456789 or did you change it to something else? Do you have DOI minting setup? If so, which provider did you choose to go with? Are you running the handle discovery server? In your experience, have you found running the handle server to be useful, compared with maintaining your own list of URL redirects?   I’d much appreciate it if you’re willing to answer.
