Hi Shaun, These configuration properties are all optional settings which are not required. It's unclear to me where you are seeing these messages, but it might simply be the User Interface *checking* to see if you've set these configurations. So, I believe these messages can be safely ignored, as it's just DSpace noting you haven't configured this feature so it won't enable it.
