Hi everyone, We're facing an issue with the workflow in our DSpace 7.6.3 instance and are hoping someone in the community can help. We've configured our workflow to skip step 1 (the initial approval step) and send submissions directly to step 2 (the metadata editing step). The submissions are successfully moving to step 2, but the users assigned to that step are not receiving email notifications when a new submission arrives. Interestingly, if we assign a user to step 1, they receive the notification email as expected, and the workflow continues to function. The problem only occurs when step 1 is left empty. Has anyone encountered this problem or know what might be causing it? We would appreciate any insights or solutions you might have. Thanks,
